About Our School
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to our website.
Brynhafren County Primary School is a category 1 English medium school in the heart of the community, offering a primary education where your child can flourish and develop into an independent, confident, creative, respectful and thoughtful young future citizen.
It is situated right on the Powys / Shropshire border; just off the B4393, between the villages of Crew Green and Bausley overlooking the Rivers Severn and Vyrnwy.
There are two classes within the school , Foundation phase and key Stage 2, both classes are staffed with a teacher and supported by a teaching assistant. The school has ample indoor and outdoor space including a large hall space.
The School Motto is: Tyfu a dysgu gyda’n gilydd – ‘Growing and Learning Together’ and this is at the heart of all that we do. We value greatly our partnership with parents and families and aim to work together with you to ensure that your child has the best possible education that they can experience.
We have strong links with the community and these provide us with an opportunity to extend our learning beyond the school boundaries. We are fortunate to have a large playing field and Forest School area which we share with the community.
Should you wish to find out more about our school, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or email.
